  • The Avs may not win the western division, but they certainly will do far better than 15th place. A new coach and big changes in style of play has helped them win convincingly against both the Sharks and Canucks.

  • The new Avs do look good. Would bet that the reasons they're doing so well are a change in coaching (Sacco is used to bringing players from good to better and best from his time with the Monsters.), as well as having some young, fast kids and skilled veterans.
